Welcome to Mrs. Carter's P.P.C.D. Class!
Hello and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year in Room 152 at Brownsboro Elementary School! My name is DeAnn Carter and I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach your student. I look forward to seeing how each child will learn and grow throughout this year.
A little information about me: I am married to my wonderful husband Nick. I have two beautiful daughter named Katie and Sophia. I grew up in the Tyler area. I fell in love with the P.P.C.D. program while I was in high school in the Ready, Set, Teach program. I worked as a Paraprofessional in the Special Education Department at Chapel Hill ISD while I attended college. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University, and then started my teaching journey at Kissam Intermediate School in Chapel Hill ISD. This is my sixth year teaching and my third year working in Brownsboro ISD in the P.P.C.D classroom. I am very excited to be here. I know it is exactly where I am suppose to be. I plan to be here for many years to come. My passion and goal is to see my students learn and grow!
Mrs. Kaffy Wheless and Mrs. Patricia Cleveland will be working with me this year in our P.P.C.D. classroom. We hope that your child’s time in our classroom will be special and a great experience for your family. I feel strongly about helping your child succeed while they are here with us. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone if you have ANY questions or concerns. I will also be updating this webpage throughout the year with important information about our class. Please make sure that you subscribe to my webpage so that you will receive a notification when I make an update. I look forward to a great year with you and your child.
